Graded Open

UoN Squash Graded Open

25/26th of November 2017

Event Schedule

Deadline to enter: Friday 17h November 2016 (12noon)

The event schedule will be emailed, and published here, to all players exactly a week before the tournament.

We aim to have all matches played on the Saturday, however if the entry size is large we may have to run it over to the Sunday – this is unlikely, but if it does occur then we will send an email detailing this.

Times: please arrive 40 minutes before your first game.

Grading in Squash  is designed to allow everyone to play in a tournament but to ensure that the games that are played are as close as possible.  So county players don’t play beginners / improvers. We offer 3 different Grades (A, B, C or D) to choose from.

We use the England Squash grading definitions:
A – Players at county standard and playing at first or premier division level in a county league,
B – A ‘middle’ team player but not currently county standard,
C – Players who play regularly, are a ‘lower’ club team player, who compete in an internal club league but have not represented a club team.

D – IMS/Social players

All of these Grades are open to both men and women.

–  iPro Tournament T Shirt for participants

– Prizes for winner & runner up of all grades

iPro will be supplying all the tournament t-shirts – we will be offering each player the choice to include this t-shirt within their entry fee. It will be a ‘sports fabric breathable shirt’.

On the Day

– Matches will run from 10am till about 6pm

– Each player is guaranteed to play at least 3 matches

– Our official Club Photographer will be present throughout the day. Pictures will be available on this website after the event.

The Nottingham Graded Tournament is hosted in the Squash Club at the David Ross Sports Village, an urban collegiate athletic facility that is transformed into a world class showcase venue complete with an all-glass professional squash court, 6 glass back squash court, live multimedia capabilities and cafeteria.
